Established by the Ghana Maritime Authority Act 2002 (Act 630), the Ghana Maritime Authority is in charge of enforcing maritime laws, controlling waste management, ports, vessels, and the marine environment.

Our mission is to ensure the provision of safe, secure, and efficient shipping services and the protection of the marine environment from ship source pollution.
